Theme : Flora and Fauna
The allocation of time : 2 x 40 minutes

Standard Competence : Reveal the meaning of a text written in a functional and simple form of short essays descriptive and recount to interact with the surrounding environment
Basic Competence : Reveal meaning in the form of a simple short functional written texts by using a variety of written language accurately, fluently , and thank to interact with the surrounding environment

A. INDICATORS
At the end of the lesson students can :

  1. Writing vocabulary in English about the flora and fauna of the correct spelling given orally teacher
  2. Write a variety of flora and fauna names corresponding rendered image. 
B. Learning Objectives
At the end of the lesson students can :
 1. write in English vocabulary about flora.
 2. Write in English vocabulary about animals.
 3. Describe the flora and fauna image.
 4. Write a short paragraph descriptive about the flora or fauna in blog.

 C. Learning Materials
Dictation on the names of flora and fauna ,
 For example : elephant , giraffe , rhinoceroes , crocodile , cheetah , sun flower , raflesia , coconut , cucumber , lotus , etc. .
GIRAFFE 
Yesterday, I and my friends went to the zoo. We saw many kinds of animals, such as rhinoceroes, crocodile, elephant, and giraffe. The giraffe is a wonderful animal. It has long neck. It’s may be 3 metres. It the top of leaves. It’s colour brown and white.

 1. Teacher gives greetings ( greeting ) ; 
 2. The teacher invites students to pray ( taking a prayer ) ;

 In exploration activities , the teacher : 
  Engaging learners seek information on a wide and in the topic / theme of the material to be studied by applying the principles of natural takambang be a teacher and learn from various sources ;
  Provide learners with vocabulary ; 
  Students write the vocabulary of the flora and fauna of teachers indicated through pictures ; 
  Using a variety of learning approaches , instructional media , and other learning resources ; 
  Facilitate student interaction among participants and between learners and teachers , the environment , and other learning resources ; 
  Involving learners actively in each learning activity , and 
  Describing images of flora and fauna . Elaboration In the course of elaboration , the teacher : 
  Allowing learners to read and write a variety of specific tasks through meaningful; 
  Reading jumbled sentences 
  Facilitate learners by giving assignments , discussions , etc. to come up with new ideas both orally and in writing ; 
  Provide opportunities to think , analyze , solve problems , and act without fear ; 
  Facilitate learners in cooperative and collaborative learning ;

 Provide confirmation of the results of exploration and elaboration of learners through a variety of sources ,  Facilitate learners to reflect to gain learning experience that has been done , 
 Facilitate learners to gain meaningful experience in achieving basic competency : 
 Functioning as a resource and facilitator in answering questions of students who face difficulty , using standardized language and correct ; 
 Helps resolve problems ; 
 Providing a reference so that students can check the results of exploration ;
